Doodles Schmoodles

I did the following during my day trip to Niagara Falls yesterday (nice spot by the way which mixes the loveliness of nature with the brashness of a seaside resort -- think Tramore in Ireland but about a million times more brash). Nothing special, just some head sketches and doodles to keep me occupied both on the train and while waiting for the train at the end of the day (by which time I was about ready to pass out).

Epic thunder storms make me happy.

So, I got caught in the torrential downpours that resulted from the huge storm clouds over Toronto today. It really was a thing of epic beauty.

Don't ask me why but there's something about epic thunder storms that I just love. It's funny because I remember as a kid, I was awoken one night back at my Grandmother's in Ireland by flashes of lightning outside my window. My parents then took me downstairs to the sitting room and tried to comfort me by telling me that the lightning flashes were actually representing He-Man and Skeletor fighting in the sky! Needless to say, from that point on, thunder and lightning have always fascinated me.
