I'm not very happy with this page at all, If I don't get much better with the brush pen then back to using ordinary pens I go.

I don't think you have a problem at all with using the brush pen. I think you want a more controlled line. Because personally I think that page looks great, very fluid which feels fine for the comic. If you wanted it to look more precise and hard edged, yes, you should go back to pens.
I think it was probably just this page. I enjoy using the brush pen for the most part but I must admit I do miss the almost clinical preciseness of Microns, especially when doing this page.
I think switching things up would be the way to go, something that I intend to do during the February jam.
