I keep trying to convince myself that I can grow a beard, only to be gutted at the measly growth that eventually begins to cling to my face. You'd think I'd learn but nope, I delude myself each and every time.

I know exactly what you're talking about... The same thing happens to me whenever I try to grow one. Beard Envy. It's a killer.
