My brother will be graduating from Garda college (for those of you outside of Ireland, a 'Garda' is an Irish policeman/woman) this coming Thursday, so I whipped together a card for him a whiles back. I'm only uploading the images now because I didn't want to spoil my brother's surprise.
I was worried that my brother wouldn't get the joke but he impressed me as always. Right then, on to the images:

Science!
Carved up my first Jack O' Lantern in a few years this evening. I love the fact that scooping out the innards of a pumpkin feels so horrible and visceral, perfectly fitting for Hallowe'en!
Alright then on to the images!
This was done yesterday, just some random doodlings and sketches.
This one was done tonight.
I began drawing this horrible mess on a white board and couldn't stop...
Here's the completed image. I tried to match my face to that of the characters on the board.
The pumpkin. Look at it. Look at its beauty.
Aaaaaand here it is with the candle in its maw. Nice.

Mega Drive
Yet again was out and about yesterday and have some images to share...
The image on the left was done by Mark Tjan, I did my own version of the characters on the right.
Mark then proceeded to do this wondrous sketch of me. Not a caricature, this is perfectly realistic.
Aaaaaaand last but not least, Mark asked me to ink up some pencils he did of a smaurai type fellow. It was quite refreshing inking someone else's work for once.

Amp Her Duck
I coloured up my sketch of Bob Byrne's 'Mr. Amperduke.'

As you can see, I went for more muted tones than I usually do in my pics as I wanted to get across the original book's sombre feel in my pic. I also decided to not clean up the lines as much as I usually do, this helps give the piece a bit more weight and texture than my usual clean lines allow (thanks to Ty for the idea).
